In March 2020, this unpredicted virus named Corona landed and targeted human life. Cases started to rise in India.
For the safety of human lives, The Indian Government suddenly declared the first-ever lockdown in March 22, 2020.
Life came to a pause! No one was sure when the lockdown was going to end!
The organization started to revamp its policies to come up with a new strategy. Work from home became the new normal.
We got a chance to spend time with loved ones. At the same time, work hours also got stretched.
Working in the profession as Talent Acquisition, life always busy revolving around Manpower planning and Gap analysis, last but not the least attending the endless employee queries…Yes! Of course, as HR we are the one-stop destination with the resolution to all our employee queries.
However, Work from home lasted only for a short duration for us. Our office resumed in June 2020, maintaining the COVID-19 protocol.
Life during Lockdown
Life during lockdown was not easy for a working mom like me with Two kids. It about multitasking when you have been over-flooded with so many household tasks along with Data preparation. That needs to be provided to the stakeholders on a need basis.

I completely utilize the spare time in-between Work from Home to discover new things. Just a click away, everything was possible.
It was the inception of Webinars, Masterclass, and Zoom videos.
Often, I use to receive free webinar notifications and Pop-ups. Thought! I should attend to find some insights rather than be a boomer.
So, I started to register for these webinars.
Even I set alarms, to attend few webinars at 5 am IST, I know you all Thinking it is crazy… what to do because the presenter is presenting from another corner of the world like the US and Australia, etc.
However, these webinars never inspired me to take up the course even after hearing their Bonus. Because they were charging in US$ and practically it was not affordable for me.
But things strike me was the way they crafted their presentations and screen presence, out of curiosity I wanted to understand the technique and skills behind it and started to google to understand the skills.
But I had to stop it midway, our office resumed with the usual routine.
Dec 2020, when I quit my job, wanted to take a break to spend some quality time with my kids.
One fine morning, when I was scrolling down the mail, I saw a mail for a Live Masterclass out of curiosity I registered for it. The masterclass schedule for 29th Dec 2020 at 9 pm.
I was eagerly waiting for the Masterclass. Finally, the day had arrived, And our Mentors were ready to start. The way they were revealing things was very practical.
I got answers to all my curiosity, which I was trying to figure out regarding Social Media ended here. I simply wanted to enroll in this course at the earliest but was running out of cash due to the notice period.
Gratefully I received my final settlement on time which helped me to pay my fees on time to join the class.
Taking baby steps to understand a completely new spectrum by discovering the Niche. I know with the support of our Mentors, it will accelerate the growth.
